Creative Media: Storytelling (Content Writer) - Support Hub

The role is based out of Atlanta, GA.

The purpose of the Storytelling Coordinator (Content Writer) is to tell stories that build general missions awareness, advocate for the unreached, and highlight GFM’s work and opportunities to serve using the written word. This ministerial role is part or full-time and support-raising is required. The Storytelling Coordinator has the ability to work on site and from home on a regular basis. The role is based out of Atlanta, GA.


Required Qualifications


  • Must personally embrace GFM’s purpose, vision, values and statement of faith and identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Must be ready to go through the GFM orientation and training onboarding process for new staff
  • Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others
  • Must display advanced interpersonal and communication skills (Gmail, Slack, etc.)
  • Must function well both independently and in a team environment

Recommended Experience


  • A College Degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or Media is preferred but not required; informal training or experience in Communications, English, Journalism, or Media may also be acceptable.

Key Responsibilities


  • Participate in the development of creative media products including scriptwriting, website copy, etc.
  • Create, collect, and edit content for the Global Frontier Missions blog
  • Work alongside Communications Coordinator for newsletter content
  • Check, edit and approve the writing of others to ensure it meets quality standards and project objectives
  • Collaborate with Creative Media team and other departments on projects
  • Regularly meet with Creative Media Coordinator
