Global Frontier Missions: Christian Missions, Training, and Discipleship
Until All Have Heard
South Asia not only has the largest Hindu and Sikh populations, but it also has the largest Muslim population in the world. It is also home to Buddhists, Jains, and tribal groups.
There are over 1.6 billion people living in unreached people groups (UPG’s) in South Asia. Nearly half of the world’s remaining UPGs (2,289 groups) live in this region, still waiting to hear the Gospel for the first time! The area is home to one fifth of the world’s population and 40% of the world’s poorest people.
The time is now. Today is the day of salvation! Come join us as we share His love with those who have yet to hear of Him!
God has been, and is calling people to serve in South Asia. Unfortunately, many workers have come and gone too quickly. For this reason, Global Frontier Missions has developed an “on site” training base to equip and assist missionaries coming to this region.
Our calling is to help people wanting to work in this area among the unreached with Strategy, Language, Identity, Culture, and Exalting Jesus.
It is not necessary to be a part of GFM to be a SLICE program participant. The GFM South Asia team is excited to help prepare and train missionaries from many different organizations, that He may be glorified in South Asia!
Our heart has always been to share His truth where He has not yet been named, that “to whom He was not announced, they shall see; and those who have not heard shall understand” {Rom. 15:20, Is. 52:15}. GFM South Asia staff and SLICE students are regularly involved in Multiplication (evangelism, discipleship, and church planting) through personal relationships and involvement in redemptive businesses. As He grows and establishes our community in this incredible area, we have endless opportunities to develop deep and meaningful relationships with the people of South Asia.
We are also currently looking for passionate people not just to be trained but to join GFM South Asia staff. We are looking for people who desire to live and work among the least reached, with a focus on Training and encouraging new missionaries called to serve in South Asia. As others join this work, we hope to send teams to new cities. In addition, we desire to increase our involvement in the Mobilization of national believers. We’d like to network with national and international Churches, Bible schools, and other organizations, encouraging and equipping South Asian believers to more effectively reach the billions of lost people living around them.
