At Global Frontier Missions, we love to watch God work as we partner with Him to mobilize, train, and multiply laborers to the least reached people groups on earth. As we reflect on the year, we are in awe of the Lord’s faithfulness and goodness evidenced in all that He has done.
In 2022, GFM hosted 18 students at our Missionary Training School in Clarkston and we are grateful again for the opportunity to provide comprehensive classroom teaching, one-on-one coaching, and hands-on training in the community. This year, our MTS students shared the gospel with 86 non-believers and discipled 83 believers, representing a total of 59 countries. Additionally, our Online Missionary Training School served 44 active participants, many of whom reside in the Global South, and we were able to send 6 SLICE participants to our training hub in South Asia.
On the mobilization front, we hosted 130 short term trip participants, distributed 803 Step-In Studies, and provided 19 short-term trip kits for churches to use in their own cities. Our mobilization efforts weren’t solely focused on the United States – this year we began laying deeper foundations for our new hub in Bangkok, Thailand by leading vision trips and recruiting staff members. We are so excited to train and mobilize in this strategic region.
As we reflect on 2022, we are overwhelmed with gratitude for the faithful, generous partners who have helped make GFM’s ministry possible. In addition to meeting our own financial needs, we had the opportunity to send $40,000 to The Finishing Fund, a ministry focused exclusively on reaching unengaged, unreached people groups, of which there are now only 83 remaining worldwide!
From the mountains of Mexico to the apartment complexes of Clarkston, the crowded streets of South Asia, to the skyscrapers of Bangkok, God is relentlessly pursuing every tribe, tongue, people, and nation. We pray you’ll be encouraged as you read these stories from the past year – they belong to you as much as they belong to us.
