A Nation in Need of Prayer

Thailand still sits at less than 2% Christian and less than 1% evangelical Christian, according to Joshua Project. Being primarily a Buddhist nation, gospel penetration has been mostly unsuccessful in years past. Although Christianity is growing more than ever before, great prayer is needed!

Most Christians know how important prayer is, but it is the most talked-about and least-practiced of all Christian doctrines. Jesus gives us great promise by saying things like, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7) We also know that most major missions movements begin with an outpouring of prayer.



Would You Consider Praying With Us?

Here are the three things we’re asking you to do:

1. Pray for These Things

• That God’s Spirit would move mightily in the Buddhist World.
• That God’s Spirit would move mightily in Thai Buddhists.
• That God’s Spirit would move mightily in our House Church Network.
• That God would supply abundant and wise staff and students for GFM Thailand.

2. Fill Out a 10-Second Update Each Week

On Monday morning, we’ll email you a reminder, and you can simply fill out how much time you prayed about these things and for which week. It’s quick, easy, and helps us track our collective impact.

3. Commit to a Specific Amount of Time

Choose how many minutes per week you’ll dedicate to praying for Thailand—whether it’s 5, 10, 20, or even 40 minutes. Every moment counts toward our goal of reaching 100 hours per week , with a long-term vision of hitting 1,000 hours weekly for the church network. Imagine what God would do with so many people praying for Him to intervene!

Why Does This Matter?
